First Glimpse Of Sofia Boutella In The Mummy Reboot

This past Sunday, while the French and Portuguese were glued to their TV screens watching the heart-pounding final of the 2016 European Championship, which took place in Paris and that Portugal won, Kingsman breakout star Sofia Boutella was spotted in another European capital (London) shooting The Mummy, where she plays the titular character opposite Tom Cruise.

Star Trek producer Alex Kurtzman is directing The Mummy from a script penned by Prometheus scribe Jon Spaihts. The Mummy is Universal Pictures' first installment in their classic movie monsters cinematic universe, which Kurtzman is overseeing.

The Mummy opens in theaters on June 9, 2017.
